Created in a large, 300-year-old stone barn of great character, Meadowview Cottage is a spacious holiday home equipped and comfortably furnished for five.
The double, single and twin bedrooms are reached by pine staircases shown on the plan above.
Equipment and facilities in Meadowview Kitchen include, automatic washing machine, microwave oven, electric cooker, refrigerator, electric toaster and kettle, and a full compliment of good quality crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
The kitchen doors open on to the patio area, giving access to the gardens and the meadow. Chairs and table are provided for the gardens. Children may play ball games in the garden and in the meadow when they're not busy exploring.
The sitting/dining room overlooks the gardens, and has open views of our own meadows and the Peak District hills. Run your mouse over the picture to see the view from the window.
You can walk in the meadow along a variety of paths and perhaps catch site of frogs, squirrels, rabbits and butterflies.

The Twin Bedroom
The Double Bedroom
We can provide a cot, free of charge. This is usually put in the Single Bedroom next to the Double. The Single Bedroom has light-proof shutters so that when baby or young children sleep there, they don't wake up with the dawn, and this allows their parents to sleep in for a while.
When you reach the end of a tiring journey, there will be a nice pot of tea and biscuits waiting for you.
The Bathroom has a shower and washbasin. Water is heated as you use it. There is a razor point and wall heater too.
We provide a toilet roll so that when you arrive, you don't have to go searching through your luggage in a hurry.
Electricity is supplied through £1 slot meters, charged at Electricity Board rates. The storage heaters in Meadowview are run on off-peak electricity. There are also electric heaters in each room.
Meadowview now has inclusive Wireless Broadband AND Satellite TV.
For those visitors who need their wireless-enabled laptop, we now provide Wireless Broadband within the cost of the rental.
